I forwarded your information on to our Franchise Sales team & you should be hearing from them soon.

    Thanks.

  3. when are you going to get a store in central
    california ? around Bakersfield.

    • Thanks for your interest in Carvel! I wish I knew when or if we would be getting a location in California. Our growth in the west has been slower than on the east coast. Looks like the closest location to you now is in Moorpark. I’ll let you know if I hear of plans for another one!

  4. Dear Carvel,

How many Carvel shops are there in this country? Thanks!!!

  5. Does the Peanut Butter Sundae Dasher have chocolate syrup?

    • Hi Jasmine,

Yes, the Peanut Butter Sundae Dasher does have chocolate syrup in it. It also contains milk fudge. Of course, could always make a special request to keep these ingredients out…it’s all up to you.

      Hope this helps!

  7. I am originally from Massapequa, NY and grew up on Carvel. I know live in Pensacola, FL and miss it so much. Do you sell t-shirts or other merchandise? Thanks.

    • Hi Teresa,

Glad to hear we have a loyal fan in Pensacola! Wish that we had a shoppe closer to you. Unfortunately at this time we don’t sell any type of Carvel merchandise directly.

Thanks for checking in with us. Please “like” us on Facebook for updates on merchandising changes in the future. Our site is http://www.facebook.com/CarvelIceCream.

    Best Reguards,

    Ludin

    • Hi Ludin,

Thanks for the kind comments! We love loyal Carvel fans like you!

Looks like we have a lot of Carvel locations around you, just not exactly in Jersey City. All we need is a Franchise Partner who wants to open there. Know someone who might be interested?

      Have a great weekend!

  9. My father asked me to find out whatever happened to the “WonderBar” that we used to be able to get on the Carvel Ice Cream trucks in the 60s & 70s. He thinks the “WonderBar” should make a comeback!

    • Hi Cate –

Thanks for your inquiry. I hate to say this, but no one here at Carvel remembers a WonderBar. I even looked through our history book to find it with no luck. Perhaps it was manufactured by another company? I wish I could help, but couldn’t even find anything online with that name associated with us or any other ice cream company.

Does your father remember anything else about it?

      Thanks -

      Ashley

      • Yes i have always wondered the same thing. We use to get from carvel ice cream trucks in the 1960′s. It was rocket silo shapped, dipped in chocalate. The ice cream inside was sherbet based. And it was called the Wunder bar.. Not wonderbar

  10. My birthday is Fri, Aug. 19th , do you all offer special coupon offers or free ice cream!

  11. Hi, I’m ten and my name is Tyler from NJ. I asked my mom to post this. I was wondering if you guys can make a “Fudgie” on a stick choclate flavor ice cream bar or ice cream sandwich in the shape of “Fudgie”.

    • Hi Tyler!

Thanks for sharing your great idea! Some of our Franchise Partners actually do make a Fudgie the Whale on a stick. Be sure to check with the location closest to you to see if it’s available in your area.

Thanks for being such a wonderful fan!

  12. Hey, any chance you might soon be offering T-shirts for sale on the website for us Carvelians? I know I speak for many more than myself when I say that I would love to be able to give a cool retro Carvel T-shirt as a gift to select family members and friends. Keep me posted- thanks!

    • Hi Bill!

Thanks for your inquiry! We would love to get some Carvel t-shirts on the market. I will pass your interest along to our marketing team.

      Thanks for your support!

  13. My parents owned a Carvel franchise in West Babylon, NY in the 70′s. I wanted to surprise my father for Christmas with some Carvel Merchandise (T-Shirt, Hoodie, Anything). But I am still unable to locate any site that will print them up. And then I found this site, the last post was in June 2012. I would love to get my hands on some Merchandise. Every week I get some Flying Saucers from my local supermarket. Carvel is still the best ice cream out there.
