ATLANTA (July 15th, 2013) – For 79 years, Americans have beat the heat with Carvel… America’s Freshest Ice Cream® and this year is no different. On Sunday, July 21st, Carvel will celebrate National Ice Cream Day by offering a 99₵ junior ice cream cone.

By visiting and  “liking” Carvel® on Facebook® (facebook.com/CarvelIceCream) Guests will receive a printable coupon for a 99₵ junior cone. This special pricing is available only on July 21st, 2013 at participating Carvel locations. Guests can choose from vanilla, chocolate or twist soft-serve ice cream to celebrate the summer with a sweet treat.

“What better way to celebrate summer and stay cool than with an ice cream cone?” says Carvel Vice President of Marketing, Lori Peterson.

Also, through August 18th, Guests can pick up OREO® Ice Cream Cakes starting at $9.99 at participating shoppes. These cakes are available in new flavors: Classic OREO® and Mint, along with Cappuccino and Peanut Butter for special orders.
