Over $50,000 in prizes to be awarded in Carvel® Arcade Classic Sweepstakes

ATLANTA, GA (June 13, 2012) – The company behind your favorite classic ice cream treat is heating things up this summer with a sweepstakes that will award over $50,000 in prizes! The Carvel^® Arcade Classic Sweepstakes is in full swing. Featuring three main sweepstakes prizes in addition to an online gaming contest with twenty prizes, over 2,000 Carvel guests will also be instant winners simply by entering their unique game codes from cards received in one of hundreds of participating Carvel^® locations.

Instant win prizes include 100 one-year memberships to Blockbuster Total Access^®, 10 Carvel Hot Wheels^® collector sets, 250 Carvel cake certificates, 770 $10 Carvel gift certificates and over 1,000 free Carvel ice cream cards.

Three sweepstakes prizes will be awarded from all eligible entries, including a grand prize of $10,000 for the installation of an in-home game room. A first-place winner will receive a full size Pac-Man^® arcade machine, while a second-place winner will take home a 55” Samsung^® LED television.

Featuring four “Carvelized” classic arcade games including Cake Breaker, Carvelaga, Sprinkleman and Besprinkled, the online gaming competition will award twenty prizes. The top scorers in each game will win an XBOX^® Kinect, with the remaining second, third, fourth and fifth scorers receiving Visa^® Gift Cards valued between $100 and $25 dollars.
